Our customized spelling program builds on student’s skills from year to year and is based on specific learning targets that incorporate rules, syllable types, and affixes.
We do a variety of word work with each weekly unit, and do trimester and year-end review and assessments.
We also assess an accumulating bank of non-phonetic “red” words throughout their years at Faithful Shepherd.
