Faith in Our Curriculum

Faith-Based Values

Built Around the Principles of Faith and Service

“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it.” Psalm 22:6

Faith-based values are at the core of our school. We foster a spirit of respect and love toward God and others, and we encourage our students to be the hands and feet of Christ in the community.

Each child is taught knowledge of the Catholic faith and the church’s social teachings as a separate class. Faithful Shepherd also fosters the prayer life of each individual. They are given opportunities to pray as a community through classroom prayer and weekly Mass. Additionally, service projects provide students the opportunity to live out their faith and spiritual values. Faithful Shepherd strives to instill the enriching value of life-long service in doing Christ’s work.

Why a Catholic Education

Each child is a gift from God with limitless potential. At Faithful Shepherd, our faith in God’s plan brings purpose to these gifts, and a Catholic education helps children grow in faith to help their social and spiritual gifts awaken. The curriculum at Faithful Shepherd is built around these principles of faith and service.

With this model of Catholic values, students are actively engaged in achieving a joyful environment and higher academic success. Our faith-based program provides a deeper experience in the present and lays the cornerstone for their experiences in the future.

Our tri-parish community provides additional support and spiritual guidance for school and students. Parish priests and pastors celebrate Mass with our students, participate in our service opportunities and school events, and promote a welcoming faith environment for our families. This foundation helps awaken God’s gifts within your children and yourself!
