The Faithful Shepherd STARS sports teams offer students the opportunity to compete with their friends against other Catholic schools in the metro area. As members of the Catholic Athletic Association (CAA), students enjoy the team building and athletic development that comes from playing teams of similar skill levels. Here are a list of current Faithful Shepherd STARS boys and girls sports teams:
4HG is a movement to create a healthy sports culture in our Catholic schools. We believe athletics, when done right, serve as an invaluable tool for developing well-rounded children.
In grade school, students should be encouraged to play all sports. 4HG will equip coaches to ensure kids have fun and get better while keeping a Christian focus. Effort and teamwork are valued above talent and results. 4HG reinforces that the family is central and sports should fit around the family, not vice versa. 4HG will aid principals in the mission of cultivating excellence within their students. The 4HG program will boost the visibility of Catholic schools and be an asset in growing enrollment.
My Jesus, I play for Your glory. Win or lose, may I always do my best and remember that my worth is always found in You. Holy Spirit, play through me. Amen.

The Faithful Shepherd Girls’ Cheer and Dance is an exciting team for elementary students. Your daughter will learn basic techniques through dance, cheers, jumps and stunts. While working as a team, they will get to show school spirit, meet participants in other grades, and have fun being a part of a fantastic group! The Cheer and Dance team will perform in a few events throughout the winter, culminating with a performance at the highly anticipated 8th Grade Students vs Teachers basketball game during Catholic Schools Week!

Ski and Snowboard Club is a Faithful Shepherd-organized winter activity for students in grades 5-8. Starting just after Christmas Break, we organize a weekly trip to Afton Alps on Friday’s after school. It is a great social activity that gets students outside and active during the long Minnesota winters!
