Good day! I am so excited to be at Faithful Shepherd Catholic School. In 2012, I was hired to be the librarian-teacher for K-8. I loved my job, the students, and the staff; I was sad to leave. I returned to FSCS to teach middle school, in 2016.
I started teaching as a Lasallian Volunteer in Kansas City, Missouri in 2001, and moved back to Minnesota after serving two years. I have taught in many subject areas including 6th-grade classroom teacher, middle school English, literature, religion, and physical education teacher. I received my BA and my Masters from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Since 2017, I have taught middle school religion and enjoy growing in my faith and helping students grow in theirs.
While not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes my husband, Neil, and my three children, Josie, Isaac, and Samuel, who are also FSCS students. We love being tourists and traveling, even if it is just across town to a festival or museum. I also enjoy photography, painting, reading, and spending time at our family’s cabin.
I can’t wait to learn about all of my students this year and getting to know them more. Please stop in and say, “Hi”, if you are wanting to know more about my classes.
Have a fantastic day and God bless,
