I am the Advanced Language Arts teacher for Faithful Shepherd’s middle school. In Advanced ELA, students can expect to read several novels, practice grammatical skills, write in various genres and improve their vocabulary.
I hold a Master of Arts in teaching from the University of St. Thomas, along with a 5-12 teaching license in Communication Arts and Literature. During my undergrad, I majored in Writing Intensive English at Marquette University and minored in Marketing.
Previous to joining the Faithful Shepherd faculty, I taught at Risen Christ Catholic School in Minneapolis. I began working as a classroom teacher in 2017 and I am so glad to be returning to Faithful Shepherd for another exciting and meaningful school year. It is fantastic to work with students who are so curious, creative and motivated to do well. As a Middle School Language Arts teacher, I strive to support the spiritual and intellectual growth of my students, provide them with motivating challenges and encourage a love of reading and writing.
