About the Teacher

I am a Faithful Shepherd alumna from the Class of 2010. It has been very meaningful to return to Faithful Shepherd as a teacher. After leaving FSCS,  I attended Cretin-Derham Hall and graduated from College of Saint Benedict in 2018 with a degree in psychology and minor in anthropology. I worked for a year in the behavioral health setting in rural Washington State and continued to find seasonal jobs in remote locations. In 2022, I earned a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education at the University of Saint Thomas with Saint Paul Public Schools Urban Teacher Residency. Outside of school I love to grow food in my yard, read, and travel.

I aim to make the classroom a space for curiosity, connection, and fun. Fourth grade highlights include the States Cake Project, the Invention Convention, and reenacting the Stations of the Cross. Fourth graders at Faithful Shepherd are learning how to access academic information on their own and shift into independent curiosity.
