Mrs. Kirby

My name is April Kirby and I have been teaching at Faithful Shepherd since 2008! I am the K-8 Phy. Ed. specialist and the school’s Athletic Director.  I previously taught 4th grade and middle school at FSCS.

I earned my degree in Elementary Education from St. Mary’s University in Winona. My certifications are in K-6 Elementary Education, 5-8 Communication Arts, and 5-8 Math.  In addition to teaching, I also have backgrounds in coaching and fitness.

My husband, J.J., and I have four children, who are all at Faithful Shepherd this year.  We have a 7th grader, 5th grader, 2nd grader, and Kindergartener.  Our kids keep us very busy and we love every minute of it!

I am fortunate to be able to experience Faithful Shepherd as a teacher and a parent. As a teacher, I am blessed to work with highly skilled, caring, and faith-filled educators. As a parent, my children are blessed to be taught by the best!
