Wi-Fi hotspots and Wi-Fi hotspot/Chromebook kits
Dakota County Library now offers Wi-Fi hotspots and Wi-Fi hotspot/Chromebook kits to provide free internet access at home or on the go. Kits can be checked out for 6 weeks.
Individuals will need a Dakota County Library Card to check one out — registering for a library card can be easily completed in-person or online.
To use the Wi-Fi hotspot kits, individuals would use their own phone, tablet, laptop or other device to connect to the hotspot and access the internet. The Wi-Fi hotspot/Chromebook kit is a great option for people who also need a computer.
Library hours added
In addition to weekday hours, the library is now open on Saturdays from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. for express services. Drop by to find and pick up books, check out items or use a computer.
