Makerspace – I am excited to announce a new specialist rotation for our kindergarten students beginning October 9! With three kindergarten classrooms, we took the opportunity to create a class that we think kindergarten children will really enjoy!

The new specialist rotation will combine Makerspace/Literacy/ Sensory Walk. The teacher who will be implementing the new specialist rotation is Mrs. Kim Peterson. Mrs. Peterson has been both a regular and long-term substitute teacher for Faithful Shepherd. She has a degree in Elementary and Middle School Education and a K-12 Literacy Licensure and is very excited to create a program that combines our new Makerspace, Literacy, and Sensory Walk for our kindergarten students.

As this is a new program, Mrs. Peterson will be giving kindergarten teachers updates about activities taking place who will add the information to their newsletters
