COVID 19 Update (9.23.20)

In reviewing our protocols and procedures for COVID 19 mitigation, we have decided to stay the course and to continue the health and safety initiatives that we implemented to start the school year.  We feel that things are going relatively well so we don’t want to tighten up and take away opportunities to socialize and learn from our students and teachers. We also don’t want to loosen restrictions at this time that could encourage community spread should we have additional positive cases in our school.

We have studied and reviewed our afternoon carpool protocol as a staff and believe that the current way we are conducting carpool (down to 20-25 minutes each afternoon) provides the safest environment both inside and outside of the school in the most timely manner that we can.

We will continue to examine our educational and environmental protocols to keep our students and staff safe and healthy.  Any changes in our protocols or instructional model will be communicated to families as soon as appropriate should changes be made.

As a reminder, please notify us as soon as possible should you have a positive case of COVID-19 in your family. The sooner we know the sooner we can contact the Department of Health and take necessary steps to keep our school community safe.

Thank you for working with us to keep our school safe and open for all-day, every day, on-site instruction.
