About Ms. Walsh

Peace in Christ!

I am new to FSCS and am so grateful for the warm welcome I have received! I can see that that the Holy Spirit is doing very special work here, and I am thrilled to be a part of that.

I am a passionate elementary school teacher committed to a dynamic Catholic spiritual life, sharing the joy of the Gospel with God’s little ones, and nurturing them in virtue. I also studied liturgical music at the University of St. Thomas and cantor for masses, weddings, and funerals throughout the Twin Cities. I believe music has so much to offer students in their learning and absolutely love to create integrated lesson plans that incorporate music (especially sacred music) into daily activities, lessons, and routines! This year, our class patroness is St. Cecilia, patron saint of music; St. Cecilia, pray for us.

I plan to hold the highest possible standards for each student and create individualized instruction that makes those standards tangible, all while encouraging their growth in mind, body, and spirit.
